Javier joined KPMG in 2010 within the IT Advisory area. Since then, he has focused his work on cybersecurity and privacy consulting, within the field of technology risk. He has over 17 years of experience in information security and data protection. Since 2016, he has led privacy practice within Advisory. As member of various expert forums on the subject, he has participated as a speaker in numerous talks and events representing KPMG.

Javier holds a Technical Engineering degree in Computer Systems from UPSAM and a Master's in Cybersecurity from UPM. He is also certified as a Risk Management Expert under the ISO 31000 standard. In addition, he is collaborating within the Trusted AI global initiative within Advisory, from the Cyber and Tech Risk perspective.
