Yuriy is a Director, Head of Legal Services, KPMG Law Ukraine and has over 20 years of experience of practicing law in Ukraine.

Yuriy served as Legal Advisor on more than 50+ M&A deals in Ukraine and abroad; managed legal due diligence, deal structuring, drafting / negotiating transaction documentation, obtaining merger clearance / other approvals, deal closing and post-acquisition integration

He guided over 15 international companies on entering the Ukrainian market; support in planning and business structuring, set up of business presence, drafting contracts, obtaining permits and approvals, advice on HR matters, representation before regulators and licensing authorities.

Yuriy also acted as a Team Lead or Senior Legal Expert on 20+ technical assistance projects in Ukraine funded by various IFI and development agencies (EU Commission, USAID, FCDO, World bank, IFC, EBRD, UNOPS, IDB, Swedfund), aimed at the implementation of reforms, creation of favourable legal and regulatory environment in energy, utilities, mining industry, banking, TMT and public sectors, institutional development and capacity building of governmental agencies and organizations.
